How to use Update USB Maker

1. Download ‘Update USB Maker’ from the Mgears homepage.

2. Unzip ‘Update USB Maker-v0.0.0.zip’ when download is completed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Insert a USB flash drive of at least 4GB or more into the USB port of your PC

and run ‘Update USB Maker.exe’ in the unzipped folder.

3-1. When the SmartScreen pop-up appears, select ‘More info’ and the ‘Run anyway’ button.

3-2. When the User Account Control pop-up appears, select the ‘OK’ button.

4. Select your language and the ‘START’ button.

5. Select your device and the ‘Next’ button.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. Check the firmware version and select the 'Next' button.

※ If recovery firmware is needed, check 'Initialize the Device' and proceed.

7. Select the USB flash drive inserted in step 1 as the storage and the ‘Next’ button.

* The USB flash drive will be formatted during the process. Please back up important data in a separate storage in advance.

8. If you select the ‘Yes’ button in the confirmation popup, the update file download and copy will proceed automatically.

(It may take some time depending on internet conditions and usage environment.)

* Do not remove the USB flash drive from the PC until all processes are completed.

9. When the installation is ready, follow the instructions to close the program and update your product.

* Do not remove power from the device during the update.
